Acrylic facemounts are now available from Gusha Pro! Acrylic face mounting involves applying a photographic print to a transparent plastic (‘acrylic glass or Perspex’) so that the print is viewed through the acrylic. Because of the different light penetration and refraction of acrylic glass compared to normal glass, the colours are more brilliant and the image sharper than compared to stan7ard glass in a picture frame. We currently have a range acrylic facemounts on display at our Brookvale gallery/office on the northern beaches of Sydney.
